Chinchakriya's Black Sticky Rice Pudding, Yogurt and Fruit

A sweet and sour Southeast Asian dish with layered textures and a rich depth of flavor. Recipe by Chinchakriya Un.
Soak rice up to 4 hours.
Strain and add rice to a medium pot with pandan leaves.
Bring rice and 8 cups of water to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring frequently. When rice is fully cooked, it should be sticky in texture and greatly expanded in size.
Stir in palm sugar and a pinch of salt.
Add yogurt to a bowl and layer with black sticky rice, coconut cream, and fruit of choice.
