As the hunger crisis spreads throughout parts of the east African region, the Shepherd’s Gift Foundation is reaching out to those in need and giving back in a big way. We’re pledging $1 million dollars to the Global Enrichment Foundation and their Convoy for Hope initiative to provide on-the-ground support and much needed food to the famine-ravished people of Somalia.

Share Hope to End Hunger in Africa is the Shepherd’s Gift Foundation’s Facebook campaign where Chobani fans and friends can pledge their support to “Share Hope to End Hunger in Africa” and generate additional awareness for the cause. Your pledge can help spread the word about what’s being done to help those suffering from the dire-conditions of the famine.
How is Shepherd’s Gift helping to make an impact?
The Shepherd’s Gift Foundation is pledging $1 million dollars to the Global Enrichment Foundation to aid the famine relief efforts in Somalia. Chobani’s partnership with the Global Enrichment Foundation’s Convoy for Hope program will assist the convoy efforts already underway providing sustenance to those fleeing the devastated areas on their journey to refuge. To date, the Convoy for Hope initiative has fed more than 39,000 people, and with Chobani’s donation that number will increase to at least 250,000 people.
