Featured (Guest) Blogger: Faith, Fitness, and HOLIDAY Fun!

I love food. I love good food. Therefore, I love Chobani Greek Yogurt. As much as I enjoy food, I fully admit I have no culinary prowess. Despite that fact, I can still create delicious recipes. Plus, it guarantees that anything I whip up in the kitchen will come together quickly and easily.

Streusel CHOffee Cake

finished Choffee Cake

Serve this coffee cake for breakfast, and your guests won’t want to leave!

Ingredients (for cake)

* 1 C butter, softened

* 2 C sugar

* 2 eggs

* 1 C Chobani Plain (0% or 2%) or Chobani Vanilla 0%

* 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (if using plain yogurt)

* 2 C flour (1 C all purpose and 1 C whole-wheat pastry flour)

* 1 tsp baking powder

* 1/4 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9 x 13 baking pan with cooking spray.

Cream together the butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat in the eggs, until well blended. Mix in the Chobani yogurt and vanilla extract.

Once all wet ingredients incorporated, add in the dry (flours, baking powder, and salt). Stir until well combined to form a thick dough. Spread the dough evenly in the 9 x 13 baking dish. Set aside to prepare streusel topping.

Ingredients (streusel topping)

* 1/4 C flour

* 1/3 C brown sugar

* 1/2 C chopped pecans

* 2 Tbsp melted butter

* 1 Tbsp cinnamon

Mix all ingredients together until combined in a crumbly mixture. Spread evenly over the top of the cake before baking. Bake for 35-40 minutes in the 350 oven, until a toothpick comes out clean.

CHOcolate Peppermint Patty Pie pie 2

This recipe requires ZERO cooking! Simply mix, freeze, serve…and devour.

Ingredients

* 1 pre-made Oreo pie crust

* 2 6 oz containers Chobani Plain 0% Yogurt

* 1/2 container Cool Whip, thawed

* 1-2 packets instant hot chocolate mix (use desired amount to taste)

* small sized peppermint patty candies

Combine the Chobani yogurt, whipped topping, and hot chocolate packets in a bowl. Mix together until combined. Evenly pour mixture into the prepared pie crust. Place peppermint patty candies atop the pie – either whole candies in a pattern or chopped candies scattered across the top. Wrap pie in aluminum foil and freeze for 30 minutes to an hour, until slightly firm but not hard. Serve chilled.

You may also freeze longer and thaw to slightly firm before serving at a later time.
